He specializes in Life Transitions, Depression, PTSD and has worked with many service members. Michael was born with cerebral palsy and overcoming this obstacle has given him a unique perspective providing him a means to help others with similar disabilities as well as mental health issues for those without disabilities. Most people experience mental health difficulties at some point in their life. He believes that people from any background can benefit from processing their experiences therapeutically and that this process allows them to gain new perspectives that help them capitalize on their strengths and to discover the personal values that that make them unique. His primary treatment orientation involves person-centered therapy as well as solution-focused therapy.
