Samantha Bonner
Oftentimes it can be easy to feel as if you are being consumed by all the stressors of your personal life and the world. Life can feel exhausting and even impossible in the worst of times and feeling this way can leave you feeling alone in your struggles.
My goal is to help individuals regain their sense of power, purpose, and faith in oneself through eclectic treatment approaches tailored to each person. I work from a person-centered lens and aim to cultivate a comfortable and relaxing environment for all of my clients.
I received a master’s of arts in forensic and legal psychology from Marymount University in 2019 and graduated in 2023 from William & Mary with a master’s of education in clinical mental health counseling. My academic, practicum, and internship experiences focused on trauma informed modalities and engagement in neurodivergent affirming care. I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and family systems.
Currently, I am a counselor in residence as I work toward becoming a licensed professional counselor. I am passionate about meeting individuals where they are on their path to wellness, and helping them feel seen and understood.
