Taylor Kliebhan
Taylor (she/her) is a doctoral trainee in the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. Prior to returning for her PhD, Taylor worked as a masters-level psychotherapist in several settings and settled into a niche surrounding complex trauma, attachment, and relationship issues. Taylor’s eclectic approach to psychotherapy includes experiential, relational, and psychodynamic techniques with her clients. She particularly enjoys the process of fostering self-compassion, self-exploration, and post-traumatic growth,
through a non-pathologizing and client-centered approach of “parts” work.
Taylor believes that we all have an innate ability to connect with our inner wisdom, and she strives to create an environment to support her clients in doing so. She holds an appreciation for her clients’ autonomy and perspectives. Taylor honors the gravity of one’s journey and welcomes clients at whatever stage they may be at. She always informs her practice through a culturally responsive framework, and navigates spaces with empathy, curiosity, and authenticity. Ultimately, Taylor strives to create a therapeutic environment in which clients feel safe and empowered to work towards healing and self-discovery.
