Kristie Wynn

Change is inevitable. I meet my clients where they are in life and help them to embrace the changes that they have experienced, are currently transforming their life and will surely develop in the future. I am here to help clients learn to develop a greater sense of confidence in their own ability to understand and solve their problems.

I received my master's degree in social work from Norfolk State University in 2011. I specialize in working with children, teens, adults, groups, couples and families. I have been trained in working with clients involved in domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, severe neglect and homelessness.

I embrace an eclectic approach to working with clients by using skills from therapeutic play, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and motivational interviewing. I assist clients with setting realistic goals, implementing a strategic plan of action while providing a supportive and safe environment to help complete the process of achieving their goals.
