Life can come with changes and some life circumstances can be challenging to our mental being. My goal as a counselor is to help others navigate their thoughts and feelings surrounding their concerns and help them develop self-constructive tools.
I received my master’s degree in mental health counseling from Old Dominion University. In my schooling and internship, I learned and gained experience in providing trauma-focused care. I am a resident in counseling and a CSAC supervisee. I have experience working with addiction, anger management, stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, etc.
I utilize a variety of techniques, drawing from cognitive behavioral, existential, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness therapies/modalities. I look forward to helping each client on their mental health journey.
